With instructional design, nothing is more important than the change it produces. Therefore, I start every project nerding out in analysis to identify the performance gap, examine causes, and make sure the best solution is chosen and designed.
If training is the appropriate solution, then my creativity takes over! Adults need their "why" so I use purposeful storytelling along with engaging interactions as my favorite tools to motivate even the most reluctant learner to engage with the content.
